Sooo...Lots of beer enthusiasts here. Where in Meridian can one find a descent bottled beer selection? Liquor stores don't sell beer in MS. Winn Dixie is the only real grocery store (which quite honestly grinds the hell out of my gears) and only has about a dozen or so decent brews, and Walmart only sells the regular Merican megabrews.

So where do I get things like Shipyard, Anchor, and Pumpkin ales and stuff? It's not like I'm looking for beer brewed in an abbey in Belgium.

Head up 495 from North Hills. About 2 miles up on the right is a gas station with an ok selection. Not great by any stretch, but better than WD.

Get used to drinking abita and shiner bock is all I can say. Was great to get back to normal west coast civilization for this very reason
