I'm currently a MIDN 3/c and it was suggested to me to start looking for alternate commissioning programs just in case I don't pick up Advanced Standing or a Two Year Scholarship. One route that I happened upon was BDCP and I'm familiar with all of the requirements, but how do you actually begin the application process. Anyone out there know?

I went ahead and removed it for him, in case he's too busy scrubbing the vomit off of himself to take care of it. I've never been accused of being a nice guy anyway.

What could have been so bad to warrant removal from airwarriors? you all piqued my curiosity...
 
It was a picture of himself, curled up in what looked like some automobile, either unconscious or pretty damn close, covered in his own puke. If you're into that kind of thing there's a site called ratemyvomit.com out there...

Also, once you clean yourself up, to get the application for BDCP started I would say 'talk to an OSO' would be your best bet.
 
No the pic was of a buddy of mine, I figured I might be able to get a rise out of him with it. Anyways back to business does anyone know how to get the application process started? And whats an OSO?
 
An OSO is a Marine Corps recruiter. I am not entirely sure if the Marine Corps has anything comparable to BDCP; I will try to find out.

Grab the phone book and call the first Navy recruiter you find, ask for Officer programs and he should direct you to the Officer programs department. Make sure he knows you are a mid-shipman and are not interested in enlisting or you may get some run around

You're right. On the Navy side, I'd ask for the OPO - Officer Programs Officer

Don't think we do. You can get opt to get some money from the government in PLC but it's not the full deal like BDCP.
