Please be that guy who shows up with the nomex jacket with the API patch on it and the aviator sunglasses. It will brighten a lot of people's day.. LOL

i wanted the biggest goofiest looking aviators i could find, after extensive research i found what i was looking for in the back of a CVS. the rims are even painted with cheap gold paint. it cost me 10$

I've always liked the Randolph Engineering glasses, never cared for the big rounded Ray-Ban's, but I'd say it's a personal preference. I keep a normal pair of Oakley's around as well since Aviator's just don't look good to wear sometimes.

But that's just me.

Yep, there's always the guy who thinks God sent him here to be a pilot. Usually a prior service guy in an aviation rating...already has a lot of the standard issue clothing, Nomex jacket and such. Yep, he's got the jacket, patches (certainly had the API patch before he even arrived), and flight suit. He'll always be there to put a smile on your face.

A lot of kids wear aviators at my school, and they hate me b/c I wear my dad's old REAL AF aviators and out-class them all :icon_smil ... j/k...

Over the past two years or so everyone in my school has made an about-face toward the 70's. It's ridiculous. I compared our yearbook pics to a 70's yearbook and the only difference was that we had color photos.
