Here's a link to some pictures of our helicopters in action.

I realize these aren't anything compared to what Check Six has put up here. Although, some where taken by professional aviation photographer Dan Megna, one of my co-workers, who has done quite a bit of work with Check Six and his magazine.

I'm guessing you guys must have thrown some of your squadron pics up here before but if it's been a while, please post.

You want pics of the squadron...

Yeah I know what you're thinking...How do some guys get such sweet weapon systems? Guess I'm just lucky like that.:banghead_

That second pic.. If there was a woman in it, I would SWEAR it is USAF.

Shouldn't you all be covered in mud, fecal matter or camo paint?

I think that was a backyardex during the workday at mainside. The guy in the BC goggles is probably doing a crossword waiting for chow. It was a pretty long time before the war, too.

Nope, the system (DASC) is still pretty much the same, minus the old school cammies and canteens. What you don't get is the people in the tent saying something like, "Anvil 24 wants to do WHAT? Oh, fuck no." Oh yeah, you can't see the coffee pot, porn on the plasma, or other associated foolishness, either.

That 2003 fire was larger than I perceived from the press reports...wow.

It was bad. I remember realizing that when all the way out in Irvine it was literally raining ash. Everyones screens, and cars, were filthy with ash. Literally looked like someone was emptying a sky sized BBQ from 1000ft overhead.
