You thought you were going to walk into that board with a BS and be competitive?

Curious if NASA starts to get away from recruiting 'Pilot-Astronauts' given the current lack of US piloted spacecraft.

I always thought bubbleheads were a better fit for much of what they do.

No parachutes, for starters.

Seeing as how the last class had a former SEAL with an MD get picked I think having an MS is seen as the bare minimum.

Also, there have been plenty of non-aviator astronauts selected to include the aforementioned SEAL, some other SEALs, and Submariners.

Fair enough, I just dropped a package concurrently with my TPS package as it was pretty much the same paperwork. Because why not?
