This is my first post. I've been perusing for a while and have learned quite a bit from the discussions. I just found out I'm going to OCS 03April2004, selected for SNA. I just wanted to share my experience concerning medical waivers for asthma, so... I was diagnosed with exercise induced asthma as a youngster. I played soccer year round for most of my life and run road races on the side. After taking the methacholine challenge test and 'passing', I was told at MEPS that for exercise induced asthma I needed to take the test on a treadmill. Instead of retaking the test, I gave the Dr. in Tennessee a statement of my physical abilities and activities and got the waiver. I know the subject has been discussed before, just wondering if anyone has had any experience with it lately. Anyone else gonna be at OCS in April?
