I have recently recieved my scores for the astb exam and am curious if they are good or not. I will take the test again reguardless but I was just curious.
PFAR 4
PQR 4
NFO 4
OAR 47
 
What are applying for? Marine PLC or Navy BDCP? For PLC you need a 4/6 to pass. For BDCP I think those are passing but from what I understand you will need higher scores to be competitive. Study a lot and then retake the test, that's the best advice that I can give.

I'm not sure what the averages were this year for the ASTB but I can ask around here and see if anyone remembers what they got. Mine were 7/7/8 56 and I got picked up for the pilot option. Obviously there is much more than just an ASTB score to the package.
 
For NFO, passing is 3/4/3. For pilot, I think it's 3/4/4 (can anyone help me with that?) but you definitely want to do better than that! I had a 3/4/3 and got NFO but was medically NPQd later. I took it twice.

Are you aiming for pilot, or NFO?
 
With a little bit of studying you can get up to all 6s or so no problem. put in some time and that will help your package a good deal.
