ASTB or MFAT?

Hello - I recently contacted somebody at the San Diego Officer Programs office asking to take the ASTB, and he told me that I need to take the Military Flight Aptitude Test (MFAT), not the ASTB. Do any of you know what he's talking about? Is MFAT just another name for the ASTB, or am I getting some misinformation? Thanks for your help.

Additionally, can someone suggest some basic aviation & nautical information study guides that can familiarize me with the stuff I need to know for this test? I've looked at the ARCO study guides, but they don't seem all that great.
