ASTB Clarification

Hi all,

I've looked through the threads but there seem to be differing accounts of whether the ASTB is required for Intel/IW DCOs. I see posts from Nov 2014 indicating this is no longer required, but other posts reflect that people are submitting them.

If not required, is it still preferred (put another way, even if it's not required, will it be frowned upon if you don't take it?)

not required so it will not be given as the scores would not be considered in the selection process.

looking at your profile you are very young, IDC DCO likes lots of work history, management, certifications, etc....

you should be looking at active, or finding a good job that will give you all the qualities to get picked up DCO.
