Watch the two videos on the right

What do you guys think about the recruiters and the high school journalist. It is good the the kid brought the allegations to light. What do you guys think the answer is for combatting the low numbers. Also, do you think that Journalists should be able to practice entrapment. It seems that recently jounrnalists have been making the news, not reporting it.

Not really entrapment because the recruiter didn't have to take the bait he should have just told him he wasn't eligible.

Your right on the entrapment thing...the kid didn't technically ask him to break laws. Even though he brought to light serious issues his intentions sucked. He went out for the specific purpose of seeing if he could get them to do something wrong to "test" the Army's limits in a time of war. That CO was soooo pissed though. If only the Army didn't need to have 17 year old liberals doing exposing bad practices. That's why I'm going Semper Fi B*tches :icon_boxi

That dude had to have gotten his a$$ ripped so bad, if I not mistaken those are courtmartial worthy, because those dudes are making the Armed Services look real bad. Good thing? this hasn't hit the national spotlight yet.

I'm not lazy, I'm disabled.
This punk didn't bring the "allegations to light," he called his Army recruiter with the intention of catching their unacceptable recruiting techniques on tape. Hey, whatever it takes to get your 15 minutes buddy...

There has to be more to this than we are hearing. I don't think that this kid just wanted to "see how far recruiters would go." I think he knew what they would say. I think he knew because someone told him, and this wasn't some totally random setup. I can be wrong, I just assume the majority of recruiters are not as guilty as these guys. Am I incorrect assuming that?

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. What I'm wondering is did he just call randomly or did he ask for a specific recruiter by name knowing that he would take the bait? I know too many recruiters, granted they're Marine recruiters, but they care a little more about their careers than letting some kid in who is too dumb to be in and could possibly risk other's lives for it.

I'm not being ignorant I know there are "bad" recruiters who try to "help out" recruits but the chance of you randomly calling a recruiting office and getting that recruiter? HHHHMMMM
