Fellas, I was wondering if any of you would be able to assist me.
I'm looking for some photos of the trigger and bolt assembly of an AR. Disassembled if possible.

Have you checked www.ar15.com? Is this for a build? I could take a pic of a bolt and bolt carrier, but the "trigger assembly" would require knocking the pin out to pull it out...

It's for a class presentation on manufacturing processes. I tried the website but couldn't really find what I needed.

Why don't you just buy the parts that make up the trigger assembly? They're probably less than $30 and you'll be one step closer to building your own AR...

I was hoping there was a good story about you taking it apart and then having the spring and pins go "to the winds" - I've had to comb through the carpet to find that tiny pin from the bolt before, no fun.

Thats why I usually do it in the tub with the shower curtain pulled... You have one fire off in to oblivion once and you learn your lesson...

Oh I had that happen a few times when I had my AR-15. That led to hours of cursing on my hands and knees. Wish they would have giving me some sort of warning. Guess that's what I get for not reading the instructions all the way :p

This could be taken so many ways.... :icon_smil

I thought I had stumbled into the "how to have happytime" on the boat without getting caught thread.
