API issues cleared up by August?

I have some medical issues that won't be cleared up for about 3 or 4 months, so I think I'll end up being the last 04 guy. Paddle, are they gonna still hold you to the 04 scoring?
 
Most of the 04 guys should have classed up. The 05 guys started this week (Day 1) NSS is back to normal for 05 guys.
 
Have our first test (Aero 1) tomorrow morning. Been studying my ass off. I have the material down cold but still nervous for some reason....Hope it goes well.

On a REALLY positive note, I think the wait in A-pool is officially over. We graduated from OCS in April and every SNA in my class is scheduled to start this week or next. I think our wait was right at a month. Glad to hear the NSS is back to normal too, but there are so many rumors here I still don't know what to believe.
 
are you a NFO, jg? they haven't had much of a wait - its the pilots that are still backed up. considering they should be starting 05 guys this week (if they didn't last week) and 05 guys go back to December 04 grads ... they are still at a 4-5 month wait right now.

Yeah, there are 05 OCS guys all the way back from October. 05 pilots just started classing up this week (today being day 1).
Snizo, trying to hang in there. Should hit the books soon to review weather test on Thursday.
 
All of the guys from Oct Nov Dec are in some masters program and can't class up until June so that opened the gates for us march/april guys. Yes I am an SNA.
 
I'm not sure if they'll hold me to 04 standards. It'll be kinda odd with a class full of 05 guys who'd be going off the old standards. I hear they already met their standards for attriting a bunch of 04 guys so I don't see the point in holding the remaining 04 guys to the same standard. Sure it sucks that other 04 guys had to go through that but it comes down to needs of the navy.

Work as if you are going to be held to the new standards until you know for a fact that you won't be held to them. Hearing that they've gotten their magic number doesn't mean sh!t. A bunch of us have "heard" that they are going to continue with the standard for the rest of the '04s even after they reach their goal just to make it "fair". Either way, plan on the worst and hope for the best, and only believe things when you actually see them happening.

Why are you an '04 being thrown in with '05s? AFIT/ISO, or something else?
 
while you're in api ... every conversation about api starts with "i heard..." and rarely is it correct...
 
I heard that while you're in API, you shouldn't believe everything you hear, so does that mean that I should believe everything I hear? hmmmm....
