I don't know why I never thought of this earlier...

Yesterday as I watched a T-45 scream down runway 16 and fade away into the sky above Easterwood Field I decided that I'd like to talk to a real-live SNA about a few things. Since you guys are here all the time I thought I'd see if anyone happens to be a member on the site. So you are reading this and know what the heck I'm talking about... and you don't mind passing along some gouge to a rookie... send me an email or PM next time your flight plan calls for a stop here in College Station.

You have the world-famous Freebirds to thank for all the Navy traffic at CLL. I went there in T-34's and TC-12's. Freebirds gives us a free drink with any purchase of them tasty burritos. I would guess most of the members on this site who ever flew in Texas have been there.
