I love Top Gun, too. In fact, it's one of my favorite movies. And I too have the VHS with the Pepsi commercial on it. And yes, Top Gun was one of the influencing factors for me wanting to be a Naval Aviator.
 
I put about 40 patches on my flight jacket, and I drive a 200cc crotch "rocket" along the flight line with no helmet every day racing T-34s.
 
Since I'm a helo guy I guess that means I drive a vespa with helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and a cup, racing Hueys, pumping my fist in the air the whole time. (then getting stopped by the MPs for not having a "road-guard vest" on)

BTW, that would be a close race.

Actually it was a 1985 kawasaki zx-9 900cc motorcycle... but it does kinda look like the ninja 250 they build today...
 
if anyone actually sees this, feel free to start a new thread for a review. in the meantime, this has gotten stupid.
