Anyone interested in an AW Detroit get-together 02JUN or 03JUN?

If so, I [supposedly] finish a rotation around 1400 on 02JUN [in Detroit] and will have all day 03JUN off [in Detroit]. I start another rotation on 04JUN [in Detroit]. I’m not driving back to Cincinnati [where I live] due to the minimal time off. Anyway, if interested in an AW Detroit get-together on 02JUN or 03JUN, let me know here…also, I’m mobile due to having my amazing 2007 Ford Police Interceptor in Detroit.

If the meetup doesn’t happen, spend a day at the Ford Museum. The wife and I did that in 2016 and really enjoyed it.

The Tigers will be out of town, so no baseball for you in Detroit.

Detroit has gotten a lot better in the last few years. Tons of gentrification going on with lots of little art town feels, cool pubs and restaurants and live music. The Ford museum is great, so is the Motown museum, the public library has some awesome stained glass and art, the casinos are fun if you're into that thing.

You could always go to Ann Arbor instead. Great college town with really good bars and breweries separate from the college scene. It’s also closer to DTW than Detroit actually is. Enjoy! Michigan in the summer is the best.
