Under the direction of Musk/DOGE, the Department of Defense has already laid off thousands of DoD employees and DOGE has directed the Pentagon to find ways to cut even more spending. Not to mention JAG lawyers being cut. What military cuts are next?

Additionally, Elon Musk is extremely outspoken about his disdain towards manned aircraft, especially the F35. According to Musk, the rise of drones makes such aircraft costly, risky, and redundant. "Manned fighter jets are obsolete in the age of drones anyway. Will just get pilots killed," Musk wrote on X in November last year.

My response to this concern is "If drones are the future and fighter jets will become obsolete, why is every other major world power continuing with the development of their fifth-generation fighter?". Also it would be political suicide for many politicians to end the F-35 program since the building of the aircraft spans across the country in many different states with different political viewpoints.
