And there we were at 40,000 feet upside down,
out of airspeed and ideas.
Then the pilot jumps out with the only parachute.
He left me with a just a sewing needle and a silk worm...
Boy, we sure were a busy pair!​
 
So, I am guessing I should hone my sewing skills a bit more. Never thought sewing could be so bad ass

Only way an E-1B ever got to 40K ft was by flying into a thunderbumper's updraft. It personified low 'n slow.
 
There we were,
fog was so thick I couldn't see the instruments.
Only way I knew I was Inverted was my flying medals were in my eyes.
But I knew I was really in trouble when the tower called me and told me to climb and maintain field elevation.
