Thats a sorry excuse for a USMC knock off.

Or a bad Sergeant York impersonation.

New AF uniforms look like state trooper duds. That 360 degree view that link had sure had some unflattering views.

I couldn't help but notice the cover of the latest AF Times on the 360 degree view link:

This may be a repost, but did anyone else notice the proposed AF dress uniform?

As I recall, the founders of the Air Force took pride in laying their collars down and breaking from the traditional stand up collar... I guess the Navy and Marine Corps were right after all...:icon_tong

Couldn't find a picture, but doesn't this look a lot like the uniforms the bad guys wore on the Death Star in Star Wars I?

Good job, Air Force. Your new, final version of what you're going to wear looks exactly like what you wore up until the early 90's (plus a belt). First you went airlines (3-buttons), then Navy (added sleeve stripes) the decided you looked too airlines-ish (removed sleeve stripes, went to metal pin-on), and now you're going back to what you were wearing before.

Almost 70 years later, we're still wearing what we wore at the outbreak of WWII (maybe a few minor changes, but essentially the same). Sure wish we had that kind of cash to blow on blue/gray cammies. Oh...we do?

Earlier than that . . . Navy Blues go back to the 1930s, and chokers to the turn of the 20th Century. And the sword design, IIRC, is from 1852!
