Super hornets…. Hoping fixed wing is relatable to the fixed wing stingrays, but who knows?‍♂️ I’m just praying everyday
Me too, I just want to do something I think I will genuinely enjoy for the last half of my career I think only one got picked up from VQ, but they were a CT I think.

I heard it wasn’t all aviation candidates from last year. I’m hoping that I’m the only sub guy and I may be worth a shot

Same, I want this so bad for the career, I want to be apart of this because I think it’s incredibly neat and it’s literally gonna change naval aviation.

I think there is a joint strike fighter I'm design called tempest of something like that and part of it is using UAS in conjunction with it's normal sensors.

How did the letters of recommendation go for y’all? I got one from a LT that’s helping set up the Virginia stingray command and another from a LCDR who flew the triton.

O level, I had a fellow AT1 who became ineligible once she picked up for NFO, she had to sign something saying she couldn't take the test. But if you pick up, why not get frocked to Chief before going to OCS?
Yeah, once you pick up you cannot test for it, but because the board concluded before my results were released, there's a possibility that I can get selected for CPO. The problem with the frocking is the MCPONs guidance for the season has it begin 6 September and final night happening on 2@ October, so it's a no-go to frock before then. If I pick up, still gonna participate. Great knowledge, guidance, and PT!

I hope that they select more than 10 this cycle, last year was super competitive and absolutely nuts! That's what happens with a brand new program I suppose!

Make the box too! (I only call it a box because I haven't picked up so I won't call it it's proper name till then)

Last year I was going to apply for it but didn't have my degree, and didn't really talk with a lot of prior enlisted about it, but luckily my mentor for my OCS package got picked up and is currently going through OCS right now and another sailor she helped out got picked up for NFO also.

Still nothing on the sharepoint... Board Convened 22 Aug, and would have adjourned by the 29th. Can't really go off of one cycle's selection to identify a pattern of releases, but it should be up to 30 days after the board adjourns.

only have to wait up to 30 days. last year the results came out 24 days after it adjourned. 46 total applicants, 10 selected, 6 alternates, and 30 non-select.
