Adopt a soldier

Hey, Just wanted to point this out to anyone interested. I'm doing this mainly because I can't be over there and just wanted to help out any way that I can. http://www.operationac.com Here is the site. It's basicaly sending a few things to the soldiers in Iraq. Many of them are asking for boots and socks from what I understand. I just got a PFC some boots online last night and will be sending a few other things. I just figure it's a nice thing to do for the holidays.

I've been raising money at school and work to buy stuff to send over. Another similar site is http://www.anysoldier.org/index.cfm.

I think the last day to send a package if Dec. 6th if you want it to get there in time for Christmas.

Another type of program like that is Adopt a Sniper. They're working very hard over there and lots of good people are hooking them up with some nice gear and goodies.
