Yeah, roger that. I wish the waves I'm going to be catching in a few weeks were from the N. Shore, instead of on a gray hunk of metal that always seems to be short on water...

EEP! Well, its nice to know if they are short water, what they do have will be green or scortching hot or else freezing in the showers ... If its any consolation, Colorado is about plum dry of water....

LOL ... I just had a thought, we should have a Boat Horror Stories section and see if the ones entering the Navy for the first time really wanna do the boat time ... lol

Having the water cut-out when you are all lathered up! Or when you are done with an 18 hour day and the water won't be on until the next morning.

Don't sweat the small stuff!

Don't forget though that fewer flights mean a higher NSS. For all of you interested, your Primary Aggregrate Score is made of the following formula:

PAS= .9[50+10(S-M1)/S1] + .1[50+10(M2-TGI)/S2] where
S= student's score... sum of the student's grades for gradable maneuvers divided by the sum of the MIF for those maneuvers
M1= average score
M2= Average of total graded Items (TGI)
S1= Standard Deviation score
S2= Standard deviation of TGI

"Once the population has been determined for the given month, a student's PAS can be calculated at any time during the month using the formula given the student's score and the number graded items."

The fewer the graded items, the larger the end result of (M2-TGI) and therefore the higher the NSS.

Or being all lathered up, having the water give you 9th degree burns, then cut out ... then ...

"General quarters! General quarters! All hands ..."

You've never seen more air wing guys wipe off, cursing and sprint out of the heads throwing cloths on and jumping into their racks and being quiet as mice before the DC guys came to inspect... LOL
(Our air wing that were off duty were authorized to be in their racks during GQ ...)

"Tally2 - Fox2 -- Good kill! Good kill!"

We were authorized to be in GQ during GQ regardless of the duty status.

Don't sweat the small stuff!

kmac,

I'm an SNA not leaving for a year but I'm still trying to get as much info as possible. Could you explain your whole NSS formula is terms someone who lacks all understanding in the matter? Sorry if it's a hassle, thanks for your help though.
