THIS is why you pull three full handfulls of trim AS SOON AS you select land flaps.

Yes, that is over the numbers.

Everything turned out ok, and I got a cool pic.

He just selected land flaps a bit late, totally fine, it's all the angle and perspective.

Nothing like letting someone else bring "SNAKES" into the cockpit. At least the other guy was ready for it. I'm guessing it's pretty much an FNG move.

Where does that term originate anyway, "killing snakes in the cockpit"?

We were told that it goes right back to the early days of open cockpit Naval Aviation, and is what happens when you are fighting being "eaten" by snakes --- i.e., falling into a pit [cockpit] full of nasty, quivering snakes --- as in being overcome by events --- and the only way out is mental discipline and ANC (and I don't mean Anchorage):

Aviate
Navigate
Communicate

At least that's what "they" told "us" ..... :icon_mi_1

Chimp Stick

Specially designed for when your stick monkey has a tough night fighting off the snakes...

Chimp Stick (for slow movers)
You asked and we listened!
Chimp Stick is our newest offering and is formulated specially for Chimpanzees. Chimp owners know traditional monkey anti-perspirant deordorants are often not effective in treating the odor problems associated specifically with chimps. Safe for little stinkers as young as three months and made from all-natural ingredients, Chimp Stick is a must-have for all conscientious chimp owners.

Go Ape! (for fast movers)
Primate Stick Monkey Odor Stick
Go Ape! is the name you know. Longer lasting protection with time release scent, developed especially for active stick monkeys. Powerful wetness and odor protection goes on clean and smooth. Advanced clear gel formula dries quickly to form an invisible barrier of protection. Doesn't leave a white flaky residue.

Listen to what MADI customers are saying about our products!

Woo woo! Chimp Stick treats me right! I used to have a stick monkey and he stank and I used Chimp Stick and then he didn't stank no more. I use it, too, because I also used to stank.

For several years, I had to keep my on call stick monkey sequestered in the ready room due to his odor problems. Even with a face mask, I couldn't stand to be around him. But now that I've found Chimp Stick and Go Ape! I can play with him on my lap all day long!

Neverland Ranch

Were it not for Go Ape! the renound Navy Fighter Weapons School would not have been able to open the revolutionary City of Fallon Children's Daycare Center. Children, particularly girls, do not like being around smelley stick monkeys, but thanks to Go Ape! we are able to combine human/stick monkey interaction studies with affordable daycare.
