Just bought this today..... after riding this I was pondering my youth and came up with two questions...

1) HOW the HELL were we able to go to class 8 hours a day Monday-Friday?

2) HOW the HELL were we able to ride these bikes all day every day from dusk until dawn...with one hand eating a cold hot dog weenie or one of those cheap frozen ice popsicles in the plastic?

I decided to ride my new bike all of two miles to the gym, work out and ride it back and I'm freakin beat...I about fell off when i tried to scratch my face, I can't even ride with one hand anymore...:icon_rage

Noob. :-D Ride it some more and you'll get it all back. Don't be dumb like me though and do stupid stuff on your bicycle like seeing how low you can get in a high speed turn. Don't want to screw yourself before getting in the Navy.

About the class thing, throughout college I wondered the same thing. A couple times I'd have class 4 or 5 hours straight and I thought I was going to die.

I hadnt ridden for a while. When I sold my GSXR I decided I would ride my bike to the light rail and take it to school. Evey push on the pedal made the bike wobble. It definitely is much more sensitive than a 400 lb street bike. After about a week though, I was back to pedaling down the street with my arms hanging down by my sides, and riding dirt trails with no worries. That is until my bike go stolen during class the two weeks before school. Sad to say that the few years I had the bike (it was an awesome one) I never really had an inkling to ride, now that its gone I was to go ride every day. Guess you dont realize what you have until its gone. Some damn ghetto thug is riding around on basically a brand new bike. I hate low lifes.

But no worries. Youll be comfortable again in a couple of days. It is a hell of a workout though.

One of the joyful perks in working at a dotcom is that even though we still work eight to ten hours a day, we still are permitted to indulge in recess! :D

Recess is the key to making all things tolerable.
