Quick follow up, here is the official study material that is put out by OCS, its a quizlet I've made, please let me know what you think. It contains information from the current Bravo as well as the one from 2017.

I would focus on the "big 4" before you ship out. General Orders, Code of Conduct, Navy ranks/insignias, Marine ranks/insignias. Be able to recite them verbatim while being distracted. The Mission of the Navy you will be saying a lot at OCS, but it's not as important to learn before you leave. Your candios should be drilling that into your skull during your first week. Plus, you normally say it together as a class, so it's going to sound like dogshit at first anyways.. Chain of command can be partially learned beforehand, but don't memorize any OCS-related names before you leave. Just learn it when you get there. Songs and warfare definitions didn't come into play until the 8th week inspection for us (last year) so those aren't as important when you first get there.

Hey guys, also slated for the July 7 class. Question about the hotel, which one do people typically book for the night before checkin?

Ask your recruiter, but I was told to book at Navy Gateway Inn and Suites. It's on base so you don't have to mess with coming in the morning of check-in.
