5'7" Too Short for the USMC!!

I'm not looking forward to being the short guy at 5'7" in Marine OCS this summer but this is encouraging. Good find OP.
 
Carry your weight, don't be selfish, and nobody will give a rat's ass how tall you are.
 
A preflight classmate of mine (Steve Pless) wasn't all that tall either. Check out his citation. The only Marine aviator to win the MOH in Viet Nam.
 
Had the honor of meeting Medal of Honor winner Roy P. Benavidez a few years before he died. Asked for the honor of taking a picture with him and he put on his MOH while taking the photo with me and my dad. If you have a chance read his book, The three wars of Roy P. Benavidez, he had to spit in a medic's face to let them know he was alive.

AND HE WAS ALSO FROM TEXAS!!!!
