Many compacts on the market now that are available in calibers previously available only in full-frame models. The wife packs a Walther PPS like this:
Same size as the Walther PPK/S (.380) but now in 9mm. Very mild recoil compared to a PPK/S. With +P rounds from CorBon, it packs a punch equal to a similar standard pressure .45 ACP. It's possibly the most accurate pistol I've ever shot except for one 1911 I've fired, and is easy to strip/clean. She's happy...I'm happy.
