It’s probably too late now isn’t it? Even though I qualify for it, I guess they wouldn’t automatically put me in that category.ISPP gives you a better chance overall. I highly recommend it.

Look up PA100F. Essentially, through your COC, your first flag admiral must endorse your package. NRC is then pressed to consider the candidate favorable for selection. If denied, I believe they have to give justification to said flag officer. Qualifying ASTB scores that aren’t “the best” is not valid justification (historically speaking). Check previous boards, it’s evident. What’s the difference? I’m active duty and applied OCS for the May board but didn’t include anything about ISPP. Does that matter?
It does matter, for ISPP the you would if needed your first flag officer to sign off with a memo. Otherwise you're going in a regular fleet applicatnt. What’s the difference? I’m active duty and applied OCS for the May board but didn’t include anything about ISPP. Does that matter?

I should’ve went that route then.. any idea when the official quotas release?ISPP applicants if endorsed almost always get selected unless quotas are crunched (as in right now).

there are no quotas for isppI should’ve went that route then.. any idea when the official quotas release?

gotcha. I been waiting for those to drop since march 17 lol. That was the last time it was posted.Quotas for selection. Civ selection goals….
What do you mean by that?Quotas for selection. Civ selection goals….
They are all the same, AD, Civ, Reserve, ISPP, the difference is ISPP gets first bite of the apple.Quotas for selection. Civ selection goals….
Why though? I know a guy that got selected last board that put ISPP but reviewing his package, there is nothing different from the way I submitted mine..They are all the same, AD, Civ, Reserve, ISPP, the difference is ISPP gets first bite of the apple.
Is ISPP always guaranteed to get picked over others. What if someone not ISPP has a better package? Why though? I know a guy that got selected last board that put ISPP but reviewing his package, there is nothing different from the way I submitted mine..
There is a thread that has some discussion on why.Why though? I know a guy that got selected last board that put ISPP but reviewing his package, there is nothing different from the way I submitted mine..
Per the description in the PA, yes.Is ISPP always guaranteed to get picked over others. What if someone not ISPP has a better package?
The write up is a little different and there is a flag officer endorsement. Is ISPP always guaranteed to get picked over others. What if someone not ISPP has a better package?
