At this point, I doubt the board even convened. The only other answer is that the folks themselves who are running the board have absolutely abysmal time management skills and lack of follow-through and, as we all know, the latter can't possibly be the truth so it must be the former.

Can’t imagine what else would be taking so long. I get that if there’s no rush to ship us then that can slow things down, but it’d be nice to have some idea what is taking so long when we’re talking about 2.5 months after the original board convention date and every other designator has gotten their results
Especially since there were a handful of folks on those other lists who are shipping for October-December class start dates and, should any of us get picked up and have an early-ish ship date, that means a much tighter turn around. We need to know ASAP to get our affairs in order or else some will have near impossible timelines.

If anyone happens to get an earlier class and has issues with the timing, I will say I have heard people can switch by going thru their recruiters. And I would be willing to switch my date with someone to an earlier one!

No one ever mentioned submitting letters of recommendation to me and I got selected for CW anyways. The procedure for having a second choice doesn’t sound very advantageous IMO.
So it was until very recently I guess that you could put down 2 designators and if you were given a No from your first then it would move to the next designator in the same board and they'd decide there. For example, if you put INTEL as 1st and CW as 2nd then got a No from INTEL, your package would then go over to the CW board in that same cycle. If you then got a Yes from CW, you could either try again with intel in the next board or accept CW.

Yes, the OCS application has 3 slots, so you can apply to a maximum of 3 designators at one time. Using this can be beneficial by casting a wider net. Pilot/NFO is a perfect example as it's the same board. Let's say you had #1 Pilot and #2 NFO, there's a chance that even if you don't select Pilot, you can get selected for NFO. However, if you only had #1 Pilot and you weren't selected, you don't have the additional consideration. (Not to say Pilot or NFO is better than the other, just an example).
The flip side to this is:
Very different designators on the same application (for example Supply, Intel, Pilot), could be viewed negatively as you don't really know what you're interested in and nobody wants to be 2nd choice. (Not something I have heard confirmed by a board member, but have heard from several mentors during my application process)
From what I have read recently, if the designators you're applying for aren't on the same board, they are sent to the boards in the order of your preference. (If your #1 board hasn't released results, you're possibly not even in consideration for your other options yet)
If currently active duty, it's best practice to have one of your interview appraisals conducted by someone within the designator you're applying for, multiple designators of interest make this a bit more complicated.
Letters of recommendation are also an option, but I think each designator might have differing opinions on their usefulness to evaluate an applicant. I would always recommend taking the time to get at least 2-3 that highlight specific work related to your designator of interest or specific skills that might be beneficial to your role as a naval officer (leadership and management skills come to mind).
I believe you've already submitted your application based on your post, but maybe this information will help you assist some of your enlisted service members interested in commissioning in the future.
Its helpful in theory since then you would be getting up to 3 chances to get picked up for OCS on a single board cycle. The bad part is if you were to put in for say INTEL, MCWO, and CW in that order, get a No from the 1st 2 and a yes from CW. If you accept the CW, awesome. If you turn it down to try again for INTEL or MCWO, then, according to my officer mentors, you could be black listed from the community you turned down.

According to earlier posts in this thread, the IWC no longer considers you for more than one designator at once, hence why many of us who listed first and second preferences saw that only our first preference made it to board.
And my recruiter said recommendations were recommended but not required. I ended up getting two, but neither has any military affiliation. I have an unconventional background, which may be why he suggested I get recommendations.
