29JUNE2026 IWC Board

My recruiter is going to call me with all the details, but what seems to be the consensus on school dates? What dates are everyone getting so far?

I always wondered what occurred to get a Do Not Return
That can be for a few things for instance a moral waiver or a PA waiver or exception to process that NRC approved that the board sees does not meet the requirements in the PA and they don't want to move forward with. Some things DNR's have been given for is drug use, age, GPA, or TIS.
I’m one of those. When I was starting my application this past April my recruiter said the age limit was 42. After MEPS I had an allergy waiver that was cleared. My recruiter told me that my package submitted successfully with no waivers.
It sounds as if he was talking at the issue at MEPS, that is different than what is needed for the PA. A waiver would be required if a person doesn't meet the PA requirements. In either case what NRC says for waiver doesn't mean much to the board as NRC now prefers to let the board be the one to give the bad news.

In your case the issue is that you wouldn't be able to complete 20 years of service before hitting mandatory retirement age, unless you have prior service, in that case you should be fine.

Congrats to all the PROREC-Y folks! It's a relief to have the news one way or another.

Still twiddling my thumbs waiting for intel. On the august 2025 board, the Intel results came out a few days after the others. I think it was Oct 17 the other designators found out and intel came in on the 20th. So, hopefully we're looking at days not weeks.
