28 August NAS Oceana "Old School" Night

So is the theme old school like frank the tank, AWG/throwback, 80's night, Squadron colors? smorgasborg/get drunk. I like it.
 
Wow, that would make for a long road trip and then to Iowa the next weekend. I guess you'll have to count me out.
 
Wish I could be there, Master. I remember the relatively old days there - at least I remember the strippers in the back bar. I'll bet it doesn't get quite that old school. Have a great time and if Diane Hampton is tending bar out of old tradition, tell her Cowboy said Howdy!
 
So if I can squeeze into my orange bag, I can wear it as a retired "old school" guy?
 
I'm down if I don't get SWO'd over with watch or work.

Speaking of which, I was thinking in coming like this to compete (or at least try to) with Master's greens:

I should get all 6-7 guys from the squadron that are local, pimp out with the Wild Geese shirts, and show Mutha what kind of hurtin' a bunch of rotor trash can put on a club.

We don't have to worry about being "in shape" in order to "pull Gs".
 
It'll be a cold day in you-know-where when the MCAS Miramar O'Club does an "Old School Night"...yes, even if "OS" is defined as 1985.

Now a 1972-79 "Fightertown Old School Night"...UNTHINKABLE! Memorable, to be sure...but unthinkable. Even though I find myself thinking about it. I wonder what Dawn and Brandy are doing these days?...
