Hey there everyone, I’m looking to get into the IWC as crypto. Im not going to make the 26JAN board so does anyone know when the next board is going to be for IWC?
Right… I was just curious if anyone who was already going through the process knew because I haven’t asked a recruiter specifically yetAssuming you’re a civilian applicant this is a good question to ask your recruiter.
Anyone know how much sec+ impacts my chances? I have a B.S in public health so I decided to take it and I passed so I’d like to know how much my odds would change.
Alright thanks, I was just doing research online and I asked ai and my recruiter and I was told it really helps to show some level of competency considering my major. I’ll do a bit more research but I’ll definitely talk ur word and experience with certs. Thanks!Very little. GPA and OAR likely factor way more.

Good old AI, recently on another site a person was arguing the info this person had from AI was accurate while the people that were actually doing the job were telling this person it wasn't, but the person would prefer to believe AI instead of the actual people.AI doesn’t sit on your IWC board.
For sure that’s why I still ask, I mean my recruiter also said it helps a lot with majors that aren’t directly related but I still wanted some extra opinions.Good old AI, recently on another site a person was arguing the info this person had from AI was accurate while the people that were actually doing the job were telling this person it wasn't, but the person would prefer to believe AI instead of the actual people.
AI can be useful but it is not always accurate.
Hey at least you asked and didn't argue with the person that has done the job LOL.For sure that’s why I still ask, I mean my recruiter also said it helps a lot with majors that aren’t directly related but I still wanted some extra opinions.
For sure, like I just wanted as much opinions as I could get on sec+. I studied a month for it and I have no prior cyber background so I wanted to see if it was a waste of time or not. From what I’m gathering it helps but not as much as I thought it did which is fine.Hey at least you asked and didn't argue with the person that has done the job LOL.
