23MAY2022 SNA/SNFO BOARD

It is about 300 per FY, if they don't ship anymore that will create issues down the road, they can push pause and then move more when the situation in Pensacola is better, they pretty much shipped all of FY 22 in less than 6 months last year.

If it is bad enough for them to truly halt until FY 24 that would push many to FY 25 and what a mess that would be.
Ok that makes sense, appreciate the informative answer!

Does anyone have a link to a group chat for the November 6 class? My recruiter called me today and told me that I've been switched to that one.

If he is an SNFO, there is a very good chance that he is in fact going with the November class. Nearly all of the SNFOs that were in the October class that got put on hold with the Navy wide aviation halt got put back in with the November class. SNA is a different story. Some lucky ones from the August 2021 board got put into the November class and some are still waiting. Nearly all of the November 2021 board selectees and all selectees from boards after that are on an indefinite hold. No official word but summer 2023 seems to be when SNAs will start shipping again which would mean that most of FY 24 is already spoken for by already selected SNAs.

Just fyi a few people who were SNA and put on hold for the oct 16 and nov 7 class dates are now going nov 7th due to hardship waivers being approved. Not sure how many exactly but there are some that will be attending.

Those are the lucky few I am referencing. They only had standing for hardship since they were selected in august or November of 2021 and had already quit their jobs to go to OCS in October when they got put on hold.
