2007 Oceana Airshow

So the Oceana Airshow is September 7-9. Any of you guys planning on attending? Any of you guys performers? I guess the Angels plan on performing still despite the tragedy back in April. I'm making plans to get up there. Can't wait.

Tailhook books its event years in advance to ensure it has the hotel whereas the Oceana Airshow date is driven buy the Blue Angels and that date is decided upon in early December every year at the ICAS conference. By then Tailhook can't switch their date. Can't figure out why they can't or won't deconflict the dates, but they're the same weekend again this year.

Look this is easy. If you have kids and like them, go to the airshow. If you have kids and don't like them, go to Hook. If you don't have kids, it's not even a debate. Hook all the way.

Piece of cake.

I'm much closer to Reno than Va. Beach...Tailhook it is! Maybe I'll even bring the kids...to hold my drink(s) and keep their mother busy while I tell stories.
