So I went to MEPS. Everything was great, or at least I thought it was. My recruiter sends me a letter he got back saying the following:
- Based on a review of available medical information, a medical risk assessment could not be determined.
- A waiver of the physical standards IS PENDING ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. Data as below may be useful in further waiver consideration:
- Applicant's vision failed to correct to 20/20. Please provide refraction for correction to 20/20. If unable to correct to 20/20 OU, ophthalmologic consult should be conducted. With disparate or high cylindrical values, evaluate for keratoconus, include corneal topography, and a statement regarding whether keratoconus is present or absent.
