Yeah apparently this is not it.Letters of recommendation have no bearing on whether your application gets accepted or not. It’s ASTB and GPA ONLY.

Every other board it has been like that (gpa and astb). Not sure why this board had a different criteria.Yeah apparently this is not it.
At the end of the day you are your own person and it’s your decision. Go after what you want! Understand it may take a while with all this extra curricular stuff going on with the boards but if you can stick it out without any issue I don’t see why not.So I got into a situation where I had no intension to apply for SNFO only SNA but I got accepted for SNFO. It feels so weird because in a way I am honored that I was selected but at the same time it was not expected and not what I currently have planned for the future. I think that I am not going to take the offer since in my heart I know that I want to do SNA in the future. Right now I am just planning on working on things I can do to improve my package since it is going to be a while when SNA board opens up.
you gonna send the link in here?Im gonna make one now cause im bored![]()
good call, either discord or GroupMe is prolly the playIf anyone wants to start a GC for overall OCS fitness and whatever tips, that would be great.
NoneHow much does flight experience matter on the application? @exNavyOffRec
They should all be out. I got a regular selection myself.Recruiter says I may have made this board despite saying the opposite a month ago-
She also says that "regular SNA" results (as in non-BDCP, non-ISEL, non-ISPP) have not come out yet. Has anyone heard anything similar?
I have heard the same thing so we got this guysI've also heard that this board was unusually competitive because at the beginning of this Fiscal Year, they had a 90-95 acceptance rate and have been running out of slots to allocate. When the next fiscal year opens up, there should be a higher selection rate. Keep your head up.
Yeah it feels weird being so close yet so far and taking the risk for the next board but I feel that it is the best decision for me.At the end of the day you are your own person and it’s your decision.
