Basically, be prepared to be disappointed, lied to and gunny timed in your future career in the military.
 
The way I look at it is that over the course of your entire career are you really gonna think back to if you got selected in the first week of October vs the last week? Hell no! Just sit tight and do PT until you hear back. I’m just trying to enjoy the time I still have without the Navy barking orders at me.

Edit: (getting paid sooner to do nothing would be nice though) am I right my BDCP folks??

as a prior I can agree, shit takes a long time. However, unlike most stuff I feel like this is like life changing levels of news. I would say its pretty normal to be antsy.
