15 SEP2025 SNA/SNFO BOARD

Sometimes I don't want to think about it to much but I would really like to know because I am trying to plan for the future. But just got to be patient.
just live your life normally until the navy comes calling. you don't wanna be that person that sits around waiting for results but doesn't have a backup

The only reason I'd like to think they'll have results out the week of the 29th is because applications for the November board are due to the NRC on 10/3. So I am assuming in case some of us don't get selected this board, we'll all know in time to be able to apply for the next one?

Nah I think you get put in the next one you don’t have to reapply, though the NRC deadline being 10/3 does make it interesting. My recruiter said I’d hear back around end of September so that’s in line with the 10 business day of May board and it seems to 2-3 weeks is the average wait time anyways if you look at past boards on the spreadsheet… and other recruiters saying 3-5 weeks could just be so you don’t blow up their phone in case results aren’t out yet after 2 weeks lol

I thought that if you apply and don’t get in. You have to retake astb and everything. They just send it to the next board?

Lmao nope I’m pretty sure they just move you to the next one without any further input unless you want to change anything on there like you got a masters or PhD while you waited or something or if your medical or MEPS expired they’ll have you do that again.

someone correct me if I’m wrong but I was told you have to wait six months to reapply to a board unless a major change was made to your kit such as completing your degree or more work experience

If you look back through the forum the rule of thumb seems to be 6 months before you can re-apply if you are not selected. If you look at OPNAVINST 1420.1B I believe to reapply before that you are technically asking for a "reconsideration" in which you have to provide "additional information for the board to consider".

The anxiety that comes with waiting sucks man. Looking on the May 5th board forum, it sounds like a lot of people heard back two weeks after the board convened. So earliest I would expect would be Monday. But, my recruiter said 3-5 weeks, so we'll see.
Oh yeah, every day you're thinking is the day you'll get the news. Then it actually comes and it's such a relief

The board doesn't care about that and there have been several times results came out after the next boards deadline.

You have to reapply.

You only need to retake the ASTB if you want to reapply within 6 months or your ASTB isn't a good score.
