11JUL17 Pilot/NFO board

If an applicant is Pro-Rec N on the board, would obtaining a private pilots licenses result in a significant change to the applicant's package and therefore allow the applicant to resubmit and avoid the 6 month reapplication period?

I searched the forum and read up on how "helpful" the PPL is to the package but I could not find if the PPL results in a significant change.

As far as I know, yes. I was told that acquiring my instrument rating would be considered a significant change, so I'm sure gaining a PPL would as well.
 
I had like 5 flight hours total lol so that is probably why I did not get picked up for SNA. But, it could have been a number of other factors. I listed NFO as second choice, but was completely fine with either. My guess is decent flight hours will increase your chances.

well if they put me on the aug 27th class I should be graduating 12 weeks later Nov 19th (my bday) which would be an even better bday present LOL. but I need work on my swim and run so a later class is even better
