1001 questions (and answers) concerning BDCP

So, I’ve got an interesting situation. I submitted to the AUG11 IWC board for BDCP. My application was supposed to be for CW (Motivational Statement and all). However, I found out this week when the board results came out that my recruiter had somehow accidentally submitted me for INTEL (no idea how that happened). INTEL was obviously denied as my application and experiences are all tailored for CW. Now, my recruiter says that CW and most IWC designators are closed for FY26. I graduate with my degree (Software Engineering) in May 2026. My recruiter says that he will try to resubmit my application to BDCP CW this next board to see if it goes anywhere. For further background, my OAR was a 63 and my GPA is 3.85. Is it realistic for me to even have a chance at being selected for BDCP CW if FY26 is closed and I graduate in May 2026? Is there any other options that I may have (since my recruiter has shown to be catastrophically unreliable)? Thank you for any assistance.

If you applied and was not selected, you need to wait at least six months in order to apply and must make improvements to your application.

Well, my recruiter said he spoke to the processing lead and that this resubmission is possible because I hadn’t filled out the PSSQ previously. Is this somehow possible because the recruiter messed up and had submitted me for the wrong designator?

So it sounds like your application never made it to board then. Otherwise, if you actually applied and was not selected, you have to wait six months and provide a reconsideration explanation.

I was told by the recruiter and another recruiter that my name was on the NO column for BDCP INTEL. I just clarified with my recruiter and he said that nothing besides the PSSQ is needed from me for this resubmission. Based on what you are saying and what he is saying, I am confused. Is something different than normal because the recruiter messed up big time the first time around by submitting me for the wrong designator?

Question regarding the degree completion plan. Is it a big problem if some of the classes I put on there are not being offered in the Spring anymore?

EDIT: Not a big problem with my grad date, I'm still graduating in May, I would just have to take different classes since they are not being offered

As long as you hit at least 12 credit hours and graduate on time you should be fine. You should let your recruiter know just in case. More than likely they will be fine with it.

You likely need to do a new degree completion plan but that’s it. Just say it won’t impact grad date.
