are all U's, W's treated like F's as well and do S for Satisfactory count at all or no?
This makes me thinks you might not qualify yet, but besides that even if you do with a GPA right at the minimum you would be a risk for the board to select you. There are going to be applicants who will have GPA's that are going to be much higher and the risk for the board will be much less.

Your best bet is to strengthen your GPA to reduce risk, you can apply but I wouldn't hold my breath you would be selected.

Fair point in general, but my Navy GPA is 2.84 with four straight Dean’s List terms and a strong upward trend. That’s not the same as scraping by at 2.80 — the board will see consistent improvement and proven performance

Hey guys I just talked to my recruiter and got some good news. He said that there is something called I-SEL BDCP. He basically told me that it’s just like the regular I-SEL but for BDCP. So I'm assuming they’ll meet independent of the board and select candidates on a rolling basis. I’ll keep you guys updated on how this goes! If anyone here is an active recruiter, is this right?

I can attest to this. My recruiter said he can get me in and contracted before the board convenes if i score above 7/7/7 next retake

Thank you so much for the reassurance, I’ve been stressing lately about getting my application in on time. Best of luck to you! Also if you need any study tips or help with a concept let me know, just finished summer classes so I have more time now!

Took the ASTB around 2 weeks ago and applying for an SNA/SNFO slot for the BDCP with a 47 5/6/5 and a 3.39 cumulative GPA as a Political Science Major, was able to cram for a couple days and got that score. I was curious if BDCP scores are comparable to I-SEL scores for selection or if the BDCP is more competitive and if so what are the rough numbers for getting selected. I do plan on taking it again as I have a couple personal things that set me back to the OCT/NOV board, but wanted to get maybe some input and tips (not looking for my chances of getting picked up, I learned my lesson through others on this forum).
