I have no clue about what the current timeline look like for SNA. Just saying in general for Navy OCS. You have to commission in the same FY you were selected for. So if your board selected for FY27. The last possible OCS date you can get is late June 2027- otherwise you'd graduate in Oct 2027, which starts FY28. And so on...

What your recruiter has told you has me questioning how knowledgeable they are on how officer recruiting works. In generally they start selecting for the next FY in Apr/May, I have seen it earlier though. Those selected for a specific FY need to go to OCS at latest end of June/beginning of July, it just depends how the classes line up.

ISEL SNA received pro y at the end of September. When the recruiter was on the phone he had specifically mentioned fy28 ship dates for SNA. Maybe someone else can chime in with what their recruiter said

While a new fiscal year starts on October 1st, for OCS purposes a new FY starts in July as the first class date. If you are in line for the first class of FY28, your OCS date will be in July 2027. if not, you can expect your date to be anywhere from August 2027 to June 2028. OCS doesn't start counting you as part of a fiscal year from when you report to Newport but when you graduate. If you go to OCS in July you are expected to graduate in October/November which would be FY28.

No, but it doesn't matter anyway.

"URLO ISPP selection panels shall normally select all qualified candidates, giving them priority over other applicants seeking a commission via the URL PROREC process. If the URLO ISPP selection panel finds that it is quota limited, BUPERS-3 shall communicate directly with OPNAV N-13, in situ, to request additional quotas. N-13 will normally grant additional quotas."
