05Jan2026 SWO Board

Do you mind if I ask what your medical waiver was for?
Medicated depression. They said I needed a waiver because it was medicated + over a year in length but it was when I (now 26) was ~15-17. Not sure how any of that impacted it and I never actually saw any waiver - they just sent it to my recruiter who had it out the door and approved by the time I was done with MEPS.

Gotcha, getting one for my vision, I don't correct to 20/20, Navy doc recommended a waiver for me in my notes, but I'm not colorblind, and my depth perception is good, and have no developing issues (eyesight has been pretty stable for years now).

recruiter told me today this board was convening today 12/05, not 01/05. but he has been largely untrustworthy so take that with a grain of salt. anyone hear that too?

My recruiter told me we won't hear a final decision until the first week of February. Still, I asumme it depends on the number of applicants applying to this board and how long each applicant takes to look over.

They take no time at all when it comes to SWO, board is done in a day, the wait is all admin stuff after the board.
