Im hoping late FebSo the September guys are getting late January as an OCS date, which means we can hope for late feb early march maybe?
Me as well, I age out of the waiverable age range in December so I gotta start OCS before SeptemberIm hoping late Feb

Aren’t ship dates designator dependant? They need more or less of each job at any given timeYou guys are most likely going to be in April, or potentially May. My board convened before the last SWO board but our results released after theirs and we got a later ship date than them. We had a mix of people predominantly in early March, a handful in late February, and like one guy in August.
I think every goes to the same OCS course. So you might have a bunch of SWOs, but you can also have some Intel, some supply, etc. Then once you complete OCS you get filtered to you own designator school. I could be wrong though. That would make sense why OCS classes fill up even months where your designation doesn't meet.Aren’t ship dates designator dependant? They need more or less of each job at any given time

Yes, it depends how many more they need for the FY, how it lines up with the follow on school and probably a few other things. There are classes that will be really heavy in Nukes due to college ending and those candidates ready to ship out and not sit around collecting a paycheck. There are some designators that have follow on schools frequently and some that don't, for those that don't it wouldn't make much sense to have them graduate OCS then just sit around doing nothing for several months. Now in some cases people do as they need to get commissioned by the end of the FY, but they like to avoid that.Aren’t ship dates designator dependant? No I mean they might prioritize one person over another due to demands for their designator. We do all go to OCS together, yes, but SWO is so high demand I’ve heard of other lower demand designators having big waits to go to OCSI think every goes to the same OCS course.
