This is my second round for SNA. ERAU graduate with a 3.0, PPL with Instrument and 220ish hours, I just scheduled to retake the ASTB-E next Wednesday and I'm hoping to see improvments across the board but expecially on my OAR. Welcome to any help/suggestions!

Took the ASTB and didn't get the scores I needed. Had to wait to retake it, but ended up being past the submission deadline. Nevertheless, I got what I needed now, but will be on the november board.

Aviation board does not look at OAR

I've never heard that they don't look at OAR, where did you hear about this??

OAR is not an indicator of the ability to get through flight school, and OAR for other designators is nearly always used just as a qualifier to get to the board.

This is true, OAR is not used if applying to an aviation board.
