Finally heard back from my recruiter! I was just confirming with him if I was on this board! He showed me my status and I was originally on the July board for OCEANO, which he swears I signed up for but I do not remember. Regardless, I was denied for GPA on the notes. I looked at the PA for OCEANO and it’s the almost identical to SWO so I am kind of worried now that they’ll reject me for SWO as well. Keep in mind, my college GPA is way over the SWO/OCEANO requirement but the notes for reason of denial was “GPA BELOW PA MIN”. The latest update for SWO PA was June 2025 whereas the latest OCEANO PA update was February 2025. Hopefully they just forgot to update the PA and OCEANO now requires a higher GPA because now i’m worried I’ll get denied for SWO for GPA as well because like I said their PA requirements are basically identical. looks like they looked at my file on 8/26

that’s the requirement for SWO but OCEANO is 2.8, basically the same but my college GPA is over a 3.0 so i’m slightly worried. i did see that immediate selects do have a higher GPA requirement 3.3 so i’m more wondering if my recruiter tried to put me as immediate. we’ll see! since we didn’t hear back this week i’m assuming next week!

If your GPA is over 3.0 you will be fine. Next week cannot come soon enough, I am eagerly awaiting that phone call.
