they’re as confused as well because their recruiter told them their waiver was approved, submitted in July, and then they got a call back last week that the board is denying the waiver

The board doesn't give reasons for denying a person, it would be in the approval process, the board is a Y or N. I guess it is something really offensive they might make a comment back to NRC asking how they approved this if they thought something was missed.

Impressive stats don't affect how a waiver is looked it.

So getting a waiver approved doesn’t mean the board will accept the waiver hmmm
 
My recruiter just called me after previously telling me oh yeah you re at board. To oh oops there was a mistake I submitted your packet but it wasnt processed for this board. As the supply board on August 4th was your number 1 choice. But that board was cancelled so I thought they d look at your swo choice for number 2.

In short i ve waited for months on this checked in multiple times the incompetence knows no bounds. I dont blame my recruiter she submitted my packet but if my first choice is cancelled why wouldnt they process me it s just screwed up.

I ve been waiting since MAY

recruiter told me earliest I could put in for now would be November board

Just my damn luck always getting screwed over beyond frustrating as I asked them multiple times prior am I at this board and they told me I was.

Does anyone know if I can sign for enlisted reserves but push it out until Jan and go officer if I get selected if not do enlisted reserves

Im just tired of waiting and getting screwed over

My recruiter told me that’s a new-ish rule that youre up for boards in the order of your preferred designators despite if other convene before. Surprised she wasn’t informed of that. I contacted the program manager myself to get specific answers because I’ve been waiting since last July so I had to make sure. Hopefully you can work something else out
 
It s possible im at this board maybe my recruiter isnt accurate. They told me supply board on August 4th was cancelled and because that was my number 1 choice they wouldnt look at the swo board as it was my number 2 apparently. They told me my packet or kit was submitted but no date next to it.

I feel like she should be able to see if you’re at board but according to the people I have spoken to they won’t consider you for your second option until you’re considered for your first option.

In cases like this. They should automatically move 2nd to 1 especially if the supply board isnt until December. Just incredibly frustrating. Is there anyone who could check if maybe I was at this board im not sure if my recruiter was properly informed on everything. She said no she can't see if im at Board only if it s been submitted. She s saying they didn't accept it as i listed swo as my 2nd choice as the supply board was convening first but was cancelled
