01JUN26 SNA/SNFO board

I just came back from the office. All I did was sign bunch of paperwork except for the FINSEL letter since there has been no dates out yet and I haven’t taken my PT test. Also was given the rundown of what will happen up to the ship date. (plan tickets, swearing oath, etc…)



I asked about why dates aren’t out yet, and she immediately told me, “there must be a lot of people on airwarriors for this board” lol. She cannot say for sure. She said they should have already picked everyone that will receive a Pro Rec Y, but it’s a matter of logistics of timing everyone to go to OCS. Apparently, OCS classes have a limited amount of spots for pilots/NFO due to the long pipeline, so they have to be extra careful about how they layout the pilot/NFO selectees. Again, all an assumption but she told me next week at the latest, and that was her being optimistic.
