01JUN26 SNA/SNFO board

Hey everyone. Longtime lurker who just got his account approved. There's something that's been on my mind for a while now. I submitted all of my application materials before the May 1 deadline, but my recruiter wasn't able to send everything out until a few days later, so we initially thought that I had missed the June board. However, a few weeks ago he informed me that the processor confirmed that I'm on the June board anyway. Now, my recruiter has given me some bad information before and, if I'm being totally honest, he isn't always the most reliable person. So I'm wondering if there's any way he could be mistaken about this. Has anyone seen a situation where someone made a board even though their package was submitted after the deadline? Thanks!

Hope for the best in terms you get looked at for this board. Brace for the worst in which you’ll be on deck for the next board.

I was submitted after the deadline for the November board and still made it. So yes, it is possible.

Hey guys! Another longtime lurker here. I’ve been wanting to throw this out for awhile. My ASTB is 9/9/9 with a 64 OAR. Unfortunately my gps is 2.75, BS Chemistry. Those who know more than me, does that astb make up for the poor GPA? Thank you all.
You have really competitive scores. Other than outside factors that we don’t know about in your packet, you have a really good chance of getting selected

These are amazing scores, I would try hard for SNA. If not this board def next one

Side note, what did you do to get so high lol.

since boards are long waits anyways I also suggest taking community college classes usually they’re free and you can very easily boost your gpa to a 3.00 or above in one quarter/semester; raised mine from 2.97-3.15. And if you don’t have any other disqualifications besides GPA you can then apply through ISEL too after reaching 3.00.

Edit: If scheduling is a problem look for online async or weekend classes they have them

His undergrad weighted has to be above 3.0… tried this with a Masters and even though it pushes it above 3.0 since my undergraduate is below 3.0 I dont qualify for ISEL.

Im going to retake my ASTB since the next board is in Nov and i have a 5/7/5 and im not feeling optimistic with how the boards are looking.

Having a 4.0 Masters does help, but not enough

I might be wrong but I think community college actually raises your undergrad gpa only; though I’m not sure how it’ll work once you have a masters lol like do community colleges still let you enroll or have it count towards undergrad gpa etc… I’d still at least call their admissions and ask though, doesn’t hurt.

not worth it for me personally I already invested in a M.S.

also they removed the terrain ID section which I sucked booty at. I'm sure i can get a 7/7/7. I hated terrain ID with a passion.

They added a new section that replaced Terrain ID or just removed it as a whole and nothing in its place?
