That’s interesting because all the OR’s I’ve talked to have been enlisted. And before choosing navy I talked to every branch they all were enlisted. I’ve never met at officer recruiter, who was an officer all cheifs

It seems we have quite the opposite experience then lmao, but for the marines OR actually I was talking to briefly about the marines PLC (flight program pipeline for in-college kids mostly I think) was enlisted I think

It depends, the Marines one I work with is an O, but the assistants that handle a lot of the admin/onboard work are enlisted.

Both the recruiters I’ve worked with have been officers. I’m pretty sure everyone in my office is. First one was a MH-60R pilot. Gave me a lot of really good advice and insight going into this process.

Have reached the point in the cycle where I’ve started having dreams about this thread & forum lol

I’ve had quite some recurring lucid dreams of getting the good news call back/checking the forum and seeing results are released back during last September board lol like dreams of waking up and checking then calling to confirm with my recruiter and then ACTUALLY waking up and checking in the same sequence and no one has actually said anything on airwarriors yet

Yeah the LTs at my NTAG just handles everyone lol from pilots to NUPOCs, never seen or even tbh heard of an enlisted OR until today

It can vary, we had about half officer half enlisted, I mainly handled Aviation and tech roles, but also recruited nurses, a Chaplain and a few other random ones.

Most recruiters are enlisted. Recruiting isn’t a top job it’s honestly seen as your career is basically over which is why some of them act like they don’t care because all they have to do is hit a quota

It really depends on the designator for officers or the rate for enlisted.
