01JUN26 SNA/SNFO board

Here’s the email I received with this information just so you guys can see…

The OCS Medical documentation that you provided have been reviewed and you have been found physically qualified medically for Restricted Line, Unrestricted Line and Staff Corps Officer Program for OCS (see attachment). PO1, the OCS Application will be forwarded to the first eligible review board for Pilot-13900/NFO-13700. Please be patient and allow 2 – 8 weeks after the board convenes for results to be release to BOL and if you have any questions concerning the board process,
The PA says you’ll be seen at least quarterly or along with the regular boards.

I’m just giving you the little bit of information I have bro haha. My package is being reviewed with the June 1 board and they told me 2-8 weeks. Just trying to give yall that information.

Yeah I know man. I’m just sayin ISPP can be reviewed other than regular boards and a batch of applications were just reviewed by the OCM.

Yeah I checked the PA after you said that , and it definitely said that in there. I guess they just threw mine in with the June 1 batch so they could knock them all out at the same time.

Good news is you’re a shoe in for it so congrats lol
I’ll believe it when I see it. I’ve never met anyone who applied under ISPP lol. My chain didn’t even know what it was until I brought them the PA haha. Luckily for yall I’m applying NFO not pilot. So I won’t be stealing anyone’s billet haha.

It’s less common but a great path to apply. Even if there’s no quotas, N-13 will (normally) grant additional ones to accommodate you

Ok I’ll ask the dumb question, do you (being AD) and me (off the street) “compete” for the same spots?

Yes. But like Bailey posted earlier. ISPP usually grants “additional quotas”. but for active duty without the flag officer letter of recommendation, they would be in the same pool as all street applicants.
Ok that’s what I assumed. Figured it was USNA, NROTC, and OCS all separated by some sort of quota per commissioning source.

I’m assuming everyone is “competing” for the same spots as in there are only so many to give out, but as to directly competing with each other I think it makes sense to be within each applicant pool type so off the street will be going up against off the street apps and BDCP vs BDCP but tbh ISEL and ISPP sounds like they get the spots regardless lol so no competition between themselves
